WHO ARE WE?

Sustainability is often discussed in terms of frameworks, reporting, and regulation. But for me, it has always been something more fundamental.

I grew up in Vietnam, where sustainability was not seen as a separate concept, but as a natural part of how people live. It was not about privilege or positioning — it was about using resources carefully, because that is what makes systems and communities continue to function. If we don’t, countries like mine would not be able to sustain themselves in the long term.

That perspective continues to shape how I approach sustainability today.

After working and studying in Europe, I saw how sustainability is increasingly defined through complex EU regulations and expectations. While these are important, many organizations struggle to understand what actually applies to them, what matters most, and how to respond in a practical way.

That is why I started TMD Sustainability Consulting.

I focus on helping organizations navigate this complexity with clarity. This means understanding what is coming, translating it into real business implications, and identifying practical steps forward — without unnecessary complexity.

For me, sustainability is not just about compliance. It is about making informed decisions, using resources responsibly, and building systems that can continue to work over time — for businesses and for the people connected to them.
